Philosophy: In a broad sense, philosophy is the activity people undertake when they seek to understand fundamental truths about themselves, the world they live in and all relationships.

Our philosophy can best be described as a modern and syncretic philosophy, borrowing from all great philosophies, from Ancient Greek, Roman, Indian, Chinese and all religious philosophies.
In particular, stoic philosophy yields great influence over our worldview. A school of thought founded by the great Zeno of Citium around 300 BC, this philosophy promotes belief in a universal order governed by divine reason. By promoting the “logos”, which implies relying on deductive and inductive reasoning, humans can discover the Laws of Nature, which govern the universe and apply across time and space.
For a Stoic, acceptance of reality does not mean to submit to it. It is simply learning the ability to see it objectively and accepting that, in this moment, that is the state of the world.
Science: Emerging out of the philosophy of science, science is a subset and evolution of philosophical practices enabled by knowledge and technological revolutions.
Whereas much of dialectic, metaphysics and logic in philosophy relies on observation and deductive reasoning, the rise of the scientific method in the 16th century developed inductive principles and rigorous methodologies for testing theories about natural phenomena via experiments.
This has brought about a rise in humans’ understandings of mathematics, physics, astronomy, biology and chemistry, and is now culminating with greater knowledge about sociology.
The development of statistical methods in the 20th century has furthered laid the foundation of empirical inductive science, while the multi-fold increase in computer storage and processing speed has brought to the forefront the rise of big data and computational analysis.
Scientific laws, or theories, are merely humans’ attempt to state, or approximate the Laws of Nature that govern the universe.
