Cedars Philosophy extends heartfelt condolences and compassion to all those affected by tragic losses in the human community. We hold firm to the principle of a pacifist universal order, promoting equality among all individuals. We staunchly support the right of every person to safeguard their own lives and pursue self-determination, recognizing self-preservation as a fundamental law of nature. In our ethos, peaceful conflict resolution is paramount, with violence remaining a last-resort option.
As ardent champions of reason and enlightenment, Cedars Philosophy vehemently rejects dogmatic analyses, which we view as hindrances to the liberation of humanity. We emphasize the intricate nature of reality, asserting that oversimplification fosters tribalism and biased, one-dimensional perspectives that exacerbate, rather than alleviate, human suffering.
Acknowledging the existence of human rights violations, significant disparities in capabilities, and occupation is vital. The presence of religious ideologies also influences the framing of the conflict. Both sides exhibit militant factions and regimes that may behave or make decisions that do not necessarily represent the will of their people.
Nonetheless, the situation still fits the traditional definition of the word “conflict”, as it involves the interaction of two social groups who are both granted the free will to compete or cooperate together on various fronts, whether in the military, cultural, humanitarian, economic or scientific spheres. In our view, choosing to not label it as a “conflict” is an anti-intellectual approach that avoids discussing the scientific and philosophical nature of the situation.
